Wanted: Visual Effects Supervisor

Flow Postproduction is one of the leading post facilities in Belgium. We offer a full image postproduction service ranging from color grading in our cinema to visual effects and animation. All from our brand new location in the city center of Antwerp.
Due to the increase of international projects and their expanding scale we are now looking for a permanent and full time Visual Effects Supervisor.
As a VFX supervisor you are responsible for taking creative and technical decisions and are able to communicate this with production, head of departments and most importantly, your team. Clear communication, social skills, creativity and a strong technical background are essential.
SKILLS
- Have a good feel for aesthetics, cinematography and timing
- You’re a natural team player
- MacGyver can learn a lot from your problem solving skills
- You’ve worked on-set before and are familiar with the etiquette
- Time management
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Have a great sense of humor…
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communication with production and being their creative sparring partner
- Draw up compelling visual effects treatments that serve the narrative
- Create realistic budgets together with the VFX producer
- Review the creative/technical work of your team and give clear and constructive feedback
- Optimize workflows and make sure deadlines are met
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and think out of the box
- Stay cool under pressure
